ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

HISTORY OF LIKPD

The initial process of establishing LIKPD was first initiated by Freddy Hasiholan Sidauruk as the Founder and fully supported by H. Khairul Anwar (deceased) on March 3, 2011. This institution was originally planned to be called the Regency/City Natural Potential Analysis Institute (LAPAK) which was later changed by H. Khairul Anwar with the approval of Freddy Hasiholan Sidauruk to the Regional Potential Study Institute (LKPD). Then, based on considerations to expand the benefits of the institution in the perspective of new development interests of various regional potentials, Freddy Hasiholan Sidauruk then integrated the term innovation into the name of the institution so that the name of this institution became the Regional Potential Innovation and Study Institute (LIKPD) as it is known today. Furthermore, the establishment of LIKPD was first notarized through the Deed of Establishment of the Institute for Innovation and Regional Potential Studies (LIKPD) Number 09 dated October 6, 2011 through Notary H. Ismail, S. H.

At the end of 2013, along with the development of the Institute, LIKPD built a LIKPD work network in the form of a Regional Research Office (KRW) with a work area in accordance with the provisions of provincial and district/city boundaries that apply in various regions in Indonesia. With the establishment of this KRW, the LIKPD Office centered in Dumai City changed into a main office that acts as the center of the LIKPD work network throughout Indonesia.

In 2015, LIKPD was accepted as a member of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UN-SDSN), one of the UN work networks built on the initiative of UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon in 2012. Through UN-SDSN, LIKPD discusses significant aspects of the implementation of the function of developing regional potential in the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) mechanism.
